The Shehadah Residence
A 2500 sq. ft unfinished basement was turned into a very beautiful living space. A large recreation room with a home theater opens up to a pool table area with Mahogany bar and wine cellar under the stairs. Also included in the renovation were a new exercise room with mirrored walls, a full bath with shower, a den and one bedroom.
Five steel pipes, which were a major challenge to integrate in an aesthetic way, were converted into beautiful pillars finished with by wrapping the steel with round wood columns and topped with an artistic marbleized paint. The other major difficulty to overcome was that the existing ceiling had many plumbing pipes, electrical wiring, and other mechanical ducts that had to be altered or moved in order to accommodate the new design.
