Renovation Design Architecture
The owners describe their built-from-scratch finished basement as "the showpiece of our home."
In addition to a recreation room with bar and wall niches, it boasts a bedroom, theater room, full shower bath, exercise room with rubber flooring, hardwood stairs and floors, and storage area.
Gas lines, water lines, and drain pipes had to be moved to accommodate the design and a plan devised to equally distribute multiple recessed and pendent light fixtures without cutting through floor joists or disturbing existing wiring.
