A heritage of excellence and craftsmanship

Ahmad S. Hamed comes from a long line of master carpenters and builders. In his native Ramallah, Palestine, his grandfather was an expert hand craftsman, and his father owned his own carpentry and home construction firm. And young Ahmad began observing them both on a daily basis at the age of six.

After working summers in the family business and graduating from a prestigious science high school, Mr. Hamed emigrated to North America, where he studied engineering at the University of Toronto, Northern Virginia Community College, and George Mason University. He then worked for his brother's construction firm, Hamed General Construction, and Faith Construction in Baltimore; founded Aesthetic (formerly 4 Seasons Construction) in 1982; and became a US citizen in 1987.                                                                                                 Next
